My friends dragged me out tonight to watch the NCAA Championship game. I'm happy that a Big East team won, but other than that, I could not possibly care less.
I realize that this is a huge sporting event and whatnot -- and I am a self-proclaimed sports geek -- but I just can't get myself interested in the hoops.
I spent most of the night off on my own shooting pool ... I won a little over twenty dollars. Yay for me! Of course, I spent about fifty on the night. Oh, well ... it's good to win some money back, right?

I received my apartment complex "2003 Swimming Pool Rules & Regulations" thing today. There are 17 in total, but rule and/or regulation number three just made me shake my head and chuckle:
"3. Children in the pool area is solely the responsibility of their parents or guardian and is not under the supervision of the lifeguard."
I find that both funny and sad.
Good luck to all of the people who has children the lifeguards aren't responsible for.
