Beautiful day in the Philadelphia region today. Bright, sunny, and warm ... a perfect day for the first Sunday of the NFL season.
I got up late (having gotten hammered last night) and didn't make it to the Eagles game-watching barbeque until the second half. Much fun was had, many beers were consumed ... good day all around (except the Birds tanked in the second half and lost 27-24).
After some burgers and ribs we decided to smoke a joint and then play some horseshoes.
OK ... I throw my shoes, get a point or two and then the other side throws. My horseshoe partner takes his turn, and one shoe goes astray, hits the hard soil about a foot in front of me, and caroms directly into my right shin.
Thinking to myself, "That's gonna leave a mark", I start shit talking him and then I glance down at my leg. The blood was streaming.
I had a one inch gash on the front of my shin, right on the bone ... from what I was told you could actually SEE the bone. I really didn't want to see for myself.
Two hours in the emergency room, five stitches, and one tetanus shot later I walked out of the hospital and drove home. The party was over, the Eagles had lost, and I get to look forward to a medical bill for my non-insured ass ... oh, and I have five fucking stitches in my leg.
Yeah ... beautiful day today ... I should've stayed home.

i couldn't decide whether i wanted to be erin or eve, 'cause i'm indecisive as hell, so azura decided for me. i figured, a lot of people on here know my name, but thousands of other people don't, and i want to minimize my chances of getting a stalker.
