so off i went for five days of music and mayhem, the main theme of the Download seemed to be recycling and the weather was definitely recycled from last year two days of bright sunshine and three days rain when the music started.
friday was a wash out in a a couple of ways there wasnt much i wanted to see that day apart from the tribute to lemmy fingers crossed that it would be motorhead playing and a few guests from different bands playing that weekend to play proper tribute, unfortunately it was a video with a few performances from motorhead and a number of pretentious rock stars talking crap...
also it was a bit of a bad day for me as my brother found me face down in my tent in a diabetic coma ans i had to be rushed to the medical tent where i spent 4hrs as they made sure that my bloods had returned to normal, i have no idea how i even got to my tent as the last thin i remember was lying in the last rays of sun before the clouds rolled in next thing i remember is waking in an ambulance with a pain in my hand and then collapsed again as i ripped the iv from my hand... below in a pic of my fav top covered in blood.
so not a great start to the week saturday and sunday the rain continued but we would not let it dampen our spirits i mean we live in the UK so very used to the weather.

sixx am i love these guys they only played a short set i really hope i get to see them play a full gig soon awesome band
rival sons i missed these guys playing last year and really ment to check them out and totally forgot they actually blew me away so as soon as i got home i bought their entire back catalogue..
not a huge megadeth fan but they played a few tunes that i remember from years ago when my brother listened to them, here is dave mustaine with nikki sixx singing anarchy in the uk
headling on the saturday was Black sabbath i really love this band but its time to stop i know this is the farewell tour but really they should have called it a day when they toured two yrs ago i saw them play in belfast then and ok ozzy cant run around the stage like a mad man much anymore but at least he was in tune, this time he was really out of tune for the first 4 songs it was sad to see :(
sunday started with my new fav food breakfast pizza i need to find somewhere back home that does this and i am going to find the time to make it for myself yummy yummy
ahhhh what can i say about Halestorm... they rocked Lzzy Hale is so beautiful and talented i love her voice not as controlled as on their albums but i wouldnt expect anything less from a live show...
i love Disturbed and this is the first time i have seen them live ive seen some vids online with David Draiman being a bit of a Dick but he was great very professional and note perfect loved his duet with Lzzy Hale u2 still haven't found what i'm looking for
other bands i saw but wasnt able to use my camera AVATAR, JULIETTE AND THE LICKS.THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT TREMONTI NIGHTWISH AND IRON MAIDEN......
