@rambo @lyxzen @missy my favourite Horror movie of all time is salem's lot i first saw it when i was 6 years old in my grandparents house... and it started me on and life long love of vampires
a writer Ben Mears played by David soul returns to his home town of , And it becomes apparent that he is fixated with an old house from his childhood The Marsten House
it is a house that he remembers from his childhood and not fondly, the house has been bought by a Kurt Barlow but is been looked after by his business partner Richard Straker played by James Mason..
Kurt Barlow is away on an business trip according to his partner, but the buying of the marsten house and the opening of the partners antique store coincides with the disapperance of a young boy, and Ben played by soul suspects foul play and that the house and its occupants are to blame. not knowing that vampires now live among them
as a child this was the part of the film that scared me when the newly made vampire boy Ralphie arrives at his best friend Dannys window.. ive watched this film time and time again in my heart i can still remember the fear and fascination i felt as a 6yr old boy sitting in my nana & papas house try in to be so brave, it not the best vampire movie in the world but its far better than any of the remakes and i would also suggest you read the book Stephen King at his best
great classic horror from Stephen king one of my all time favs
