I was apart of an honor guard ceremony today for a kid, that was a resident for the town I work for, that was killed in Afghanistan. 20 years old, barely had any life experiences I bet outside of the war. Regardless of what your opinions are of the war, it's still always sad when someone so young is struck down. I'd like to think he kept me safe with the sacrifice he made.

i think whether we are for or against the war, we need to show support to our soldiers. lots of people don't see it like that because they're angry and they've got personal reasons. well that's why they don't serve or want to serve. to deny the heroes dignity and hope that they deserve because they serve to keep countless strangers safe is wrong. i'm sooo thankful for what they do because it's sacrifice. what costs more than life? he didn't die for nothing.

That was really well put. Thank you for that.
