Got incredibly ill again over the weekend. But I did get to see my mom which was great. But I'm still not feeling up to snuff.
I've decided I'm done with all this boy drama. No more pursuing of the men for a while. They can still pursue me if they like but I'm done making an effort for now. All my efforts in the recent past have been fruitless, so I'm just not going to bother for a while.
On a slightly more interesting note, I joined the Army ROTC on my campus. I'm going to get in shape and get a grade an A for it, which I think is pretty sweet. And did I mention I quit smoking? I'm giving up a lot of things that are bad for me, like smoking, eating poorly, and stupid boys. But anyway, ROTC is actually a lot of fun and I acquired a brand new group of friends almost instantly. They want me to come over to drink tonight, but I'm not sure since I've been sick and I have class at 9am. Also, despite the lewdness and vulgarity of many of their conversations, these guys are actually gentlemanly. They'd never admit it in front of army guys, but they really are honorable gentlemen. I guess its true that you feel safer with men of uniform. And don't you worry, as soon as I get it, I'll put pictures of me in my uniform up on here.
The only bad thing about this whole arrangement is that I am exhausted from PT this morning (At 6:30am btw) and my whole body hurts. We did a PT test, I decided not to run since I'm still on antibiotics and can't breathe normally yet. I did 26 push-ups ( had no clue I could do that) and the minimum for girls is 18 (whew). Sit-ups I came no where near to the minimum of 50 in two minutes, I did 20. That's just how out of shape I am. But the whole point is to measure where we're at so that we can improve. The minimums are guidlines you should be able to meet if you want to sign on and go to basic traning/boot camp. All I have left is to run two miles in 18 minutes or less. Should be fun... haha.
Hope you all are doing better than me.
