I know I don’t often post updates on life, and I’ve been pretty quiet lately. This past week I’ve just been kissing the ground that I’m still able to walk on.
Last Sunday, I was in a nasty car wreck that I was lucky to walk away from. I was blinded by bright sunlight that made it very difficult to see, and I crashed into an orange water barrier at over 70 mph.
Shortly after escaping the wreck, about 20 minutes, another driver that was under the influence crashed into the side of it. This car was in our family ever since I was a child, and it was completely destroyed in a single night.
On top of that, my last day of work was Tuesday, just two day after it happened. I had been working at UPS since Thanksgiving, and I realized that the hours and pay was not worth traveling back and forth to work.
I’m not trying to make this status as a “woe is me” sort of status, but I wanted to make this status saying that you need to be safe out there. You never know just how sudden life can stop, or what the world will hit you with.
I’m still hurting, both body and soul, but I’m doing okay right now. I’m hoping for better things in the future. And to show that I am doing good, I wanted to show a picture of me with Monkey Rock on top of the Tahoe Rim.
