Yesterday I got some of the best news I had in a while.

I became one of the finalists for the Aphrodite Film Awards. I was one of the two photography finalists vying for the prize of Best Photography.

Unfortunately, a 50/50 chance, I ended up coming in second. I’m happy to have been chosen as a finalist, but obviously would’ve been happy to be the winner.

However, I’m glad to know that I was a finalist in a tough category and went up against some of the best photographers and gave them a run for their money. I’m happy they won, but next time, I’ll do better.
