Soooooo, this week...
Dad has kidney stones. Woo hoo. To anyone that has ever had them, I've had them 3 times now, you know the pain he's going through. Worse pain EVER. Heard it's worse than child birth. If that's the case... NO KIDDIES FOR ME!! Hell no!! He still hasn't passed them yet
Then my mom had to go to the dentist and get some more work done to her teeth. She's in a lot of pain right now, laying on the bed and taking some meds.
Had to take my cat to the vet on Thrusday for a check up. She's been limping. So we took her to the vet last week... they gave her a shot and gave me some pills to give her. Ever give a cat a pill. Oh yeah.. FUN FUN FUN!! Cat is doing better. She hissed like a mutha fucka when we were leaving. I wish it as PC enough to hiss at people that beg you... that would be great. "hey Amy.. blah blah blah.." "HIISSSSSSSSSSSS!!!"
This week, I've had no medical issues.. WOO WOO. Allergist gave me some free samples, cuz paying $80 for a 30 day supply of Singular sucks ass.
Oooooooooh, but work.. work is fUnTASTIC!!
Went in today to pick up my check and see what the new schedule is. Brenda, a co-worker that doesn't do much, was there. I asked her... where's Judy's name on the schedule... and why are you the frameshop cordinator? She turned and said that she's the new manager for back there.
Needless to say I was shocked. She asked what I thought about it. Told her I don't have too much of an issue with it, which is true, but that I'm a little disappointed. I've been with the company for over 3 years, I know the rest of the store and our products much MUCH better than she does and my availablity is more than hers.
To be honest, not sure if I want that position or not... I'd like to be the senior framer whenever Bruce quits. But I am upset that they didn't offer me the position. They know how badly I need a better insurance plan, they know they can count on me to help them out. I'm just bummed out about the situation. Fuckin sucks.
I really don't think she's gonna last all too long being manager back there. It's VERY cut throat and I don't think she has the balls for it.
