So... got to go to work today.. woot. I frickin hate retail. Actually, I love my job, just wish they'd give me more hours and we had more customers so I can get more hours.
Older fella comes in and picks up his order. Actually, it was his wife that placed the framing order.
I asked him, so is Linda your wife, since that was the name on his sheet, he says yea, she's in the car, he's just here to pick it up.
He takes a look at them and is amazed at how nice they look. Asked if I had worked on them. I told him no, and also made a comment about how nice they looked, small chit chat stuff.
He then said.. Well, I wish you had worked on them, then I can get your autograph and say I had a framing job done by Amy.
Then he said.. not sure if you've been told this today or not, these younger kids need to learn some lessons, but I just wanted to say what a pretty young woman you are and you have a nice small and great attitude... keep it up." i was taken aback and told him thanks for saying that and that it was nice to hear.
Then he says "Do you have my phone number?"
"Yup, got it right here along with your address, so I'll prank call you later and have a pizza waiting for you"
He giggles and then says "Awwwww, I was gonna ask you for your number cuz I lost mine."
Told him he'd better watch it or I'm tellin' the wifey.
Sometimes it is nice to hear stuff like that... too bad he followed it up with a cheesey pick up line
I wish this one boy that would come into the shop almost everyday I was working, wish he'd come back
He was uber cute and seemed to not really be there for any reason, but to chit chat.
Is it wrong to call customers and ask them out? bawhahaha

Damn, you're journal gets whored up pretty quick.
Yup, the Michaels on Eureka and that's my green Mustang that always parked in the corner. Just got my hood scoop painted.. WOO HOO and hopefully I'll be installing it within the next few weeks. It's a V6.. but I swear.. it has one extra cylinder in it.. it's actually a V7 prototype. haha
