Well... I have been slacking
A good friend of mine that I've known since high school and I go to the gym with... her dad passed away on Thrusday... 2 days after his 49th birthday. I seem to know a lot of people that have passed on near their birthday... it's odd.
He had diabetes. Both arms and legs had to be amputated (sp?) a few years back. He used to keep some of his body parts that fell off too
It was really sad seeing my friend go through it.
Didn't know what to do.. so I made her and her family dinner and brought it over to their house while they were at the funeral home.
When I got the the funeral home and told her mother what I had done.. tears and a big hug from her is what I got
It felt good knowing I had done the right thing. I also became her 8 year old neices best friend that day. Her and I talked and colored. She asked me why I wasn't crying. I told her that I was, but it's in the inside (cheesey.. i know, but true).. and that I had cried earlier for them. And that I wanted to come to show support and to give an extra pair of shoulders to cry on. She smiled at me. And I told her that I didn't know what to do... so I made them all dinner. Just told her when I'm sad.. I make people food. hahaha. We sat and colored in the coloring book they had at the funeral home.
Mel said that she should be ready to go to the gym on Friday with me![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
