I was having a cup of warm spearmint tea with my man on the back porch while he cleaned his guns. But, it got chilly and my laptop died so I'm back in and cozy in the arm chair now.
So last weekend was wonderful. Lots of busyness. We didn't end up closing on the apartment so I'm still a little scarce in chat but, we we're waiting to hear back on another (less expensive) one on monday.
The original one had something in the air that made Eric's allergies act up immediately and with the baby constantly around the dogs and cat we can't risk bringing him into another potentially hazardous living environment til we figure out if he has any of our allergies.
The overnight hike was great. We actually took our jogging stroller up the mountain with us and it made the whole experience go much smoother.
We had to lift it over a few streams and steer around a few boulders but you can't even tell it was taken on such a rough trip. Other than the mud on the wheels .
We had a bear visit at about 4 am and he tried to make off with our bio wipes that i stupidly left less than 15 feet from the tent. And suceeded in destroying the baby's potty seat that I really, really stupidly left less than 8 feet from our tent.
A BLACK BEAR WAS 8 FEET FROM OUR TENT!!!!!!!!!![eeek](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/eek.c88c4a705be2.gif)

And we barely woke up![surreal](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/surreal.c4753148b56b.gif)
Ninja bear.
It still gives me the shivers.
We finally hollered and barked like dogs and scared it off for the night. Which also scared the shit out of my poor son who woke up screaming from all the noise.
But, we got home safe and sound. There are teeth marks on our bio wipes pack and we had to buy the baby a new potty seat but, it could have gone much worse![biggrin](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/biggrin.b730b6165809.gif)
Now for massive picture dump.

And today I got my mommy tattoo I've been waiting on for months.
And I actually put in my contacts/ did my makeup. So here's my "put together" face
that ninja bear has weird test in food - wipe and toilet seat? i almost ran into a black bear once in my convertible coming around the corner...it would have hurt the car more than the bear. he was solid.
