OMG! 2 weeks left!
I can't decide if I'm more in a hurry for the day to be here and him be out finally or if I have way too much to do to fit it all into 2 weeks.
We finally put the carseat in the car today. That was quite the adventure. It took alot more effort and repeat attempts than I ever expected. And it's HUGE. It barely fits in the back seat of E's Fit behind the passenger seat with the seat half up. Luckily my legs are short
Putting it in my car for the first time is going to be a major bear. We definately will need 2 eventually because It's way to much effort to lug it up and down the apartment steps and reinstall it every time.
Unless I sell my car....which may happen....then we'll just need one.
My contractions are back to work again. Nothing makes a difference in them now. They just come and go. The only thing that affects them is the baby getting overzealous with the engaging and extreme stretching. He's like a frantic little mime in a box sometimes. It feels like he's trying so hard to find a way to project himself out.
My little eager beaver already
In other news we're finally poor enough to be on goverment aide with me being jobless for the next 6 months. Soooo.... Now we get to play the WIC scavenger hunt whenever we go shopping.
We went last night and I rode in one of those stupid motorized lard carts like I always have to when E's with me.
He gets nervous when I have to stop in the aisles from walking too much and lean onto one of the shelves for support in the middle of a contraction. I don't know what his deal is
If he had seen how I got through work days for the past 3 months he would have made me use a wheel chair the whole time or quit working alot sooner. Hehe
But, yeah, WIC is confusing. They're so specific. You can have the store brand of one thing and not of another and some of the items have little tags on the shelf and some don't. And then to make it even worse sometimes items that aren't even on the list have WIC tags on them. Still it'll save us about $100 on groceries a month and the scavenger hunt for stuff on the list is kind of fun, for now
I've been sewing ALOT lately. Some baby stuff and some nursing clothes mostly. It's kind of all about the baby right now
I'm wearing this to the family baby shower sunday. It's suposed to look kind of like a watermelon Why my MIL thought it would be a good idea to wait until 2 weeks before the baby is due to have a shower is beyond me. We already have pretty much all our stuff even though we ended up buying most of it, and it was looking like he might come early for a long while. And I'm HUGE! Sheesh.

I hope that the coming weeks are as mellow as possible for you and, when the wee one does decide to arrive, that it's a smooth process.
All the best to you!!
Cheers,
