So the contractions have finally started to work for real. I still have 4 weeks and 3 days til my due date and real full term and a week and 3 days before Im far enough along to not have to deliver in the hospital. But, when I went to the clinic today they checked me and my cervix is already about 50% thinned. Luckily not dillated yet but, as low as the babys head is and how much pressure it's putting directly on my cervix it wont be long now.
So.... I'm bringing in a doctors note tommorow to my work and going to work out a way for me to be out of work from here on out.
The contractions are definately coming on more strongly and with more frequency. I also can no longer control them or tell when Im likely to have them. They don't seem to be triggered as distinctly be activity or prolonged standing. I get them even if I've been resting for a while. It makes me nervous That maybe its too little too late and I'm going to keep progressing towards labor even out of work but, I sure as hell dont want to go into labor in the middle of a show.
We also found out today that E probably won't have a job at his theater next year either, so..... I guess were moving and looking for new jobs this winter with a brand new baby.
