I is back! Ooh!

I got an email with a reactivation code saying someone had bought it for me, however I slightly believe that SG simply missed me waaay too much to let me fester in cyber-nowhere and simply decided that in order to save themselves from eternal misery they should simply give me some love.!

Well, much has changed since I was last a...

So, yeah, still been neglecting the site, still over worked and under(not) paid, but oh well.

Over the summer, if you can call it that, quite a lot has happened. The flat I'm in at the moment is now up for sale, we've found a lovely little house not far away that is ours as soon as this place is sold and I've decided I...

I hope the business is going well.

It's Cheltenham! Which is sunny today smile

My water supplies are doing reasonably well, because I was able to fill up lots of containers before the supply was cut. I even emptied out and cleaned my kitchen bin to use that to store water. I also filled up my pots, pans, casserole dishes, Tupperware, wine and beer glasses before putting them back on the shelf.

I had my hopes up that the ware would be on this morning after hearing on the radio that some areas in Gloucestershire have it back on, but its still not on here.

This contraption gave me enough water to flush the loo yesterday. biggrin

So I watched the Lost finale last night.

Spoliers galore so make sure you don't read if you don't want to kow what happens or my opinions about it. Especially if you're in the UK as you only have to wait til tonight (unless you download!)

I got my calves tattooed today, just the outlines. I could sit there all day and cope with the 'pain' but I can't sit still, at all. It kills me, I've got shitty circulation anyway, my blood simply refuses to enter certain parts of my body sometimes, and I get pins and needles constantly. Shitter.

I could have gone on and had them finished today...

In the last six months of my degree my life consisted of non stop revision from 9Am to 9PM, which left me unable to sleep because my mond was too active. I fixed that by drinking as much as I possibly could before closing time to knock myself out. After that, I was unable to hold a conversation or to function properly in a social setting. shocked

Time was a great healer though and I was soon back to normal.

That's great news about your dad and I hope to see your photos of the lovely new fish-ladies.

P.S. It's time to call in your friend favours. The May SGUK vouch thread is open.

Tired. Spend all day escorting my friend around Birmingham dressed as a dinosaur to promote the shop.

However I did make 127 with my jewellery and hair fun this week.

Yay, I can eat!

I don't know if anyone here is actually in Birmingham but here is a small piece of shameless self promotion.

After several weeks of pottering about next door to Beadesaurus (Birmingham), the time has finally come to open the big leopard print doors and let everyone see what we have been up to.

Come checkout our new shop space opening on Saturday 7th of April....

My dad has stabilised but he is nowhere near 'safe'. Last night I was told he had 24 hours left to live but today he has responded to the kidney dialysis and is now semi-conscious and responsive. He's been moved to the specialist liver unit at a different hospital and has some remaining liver and kidney function, however if he pulls through he will no...

So yesterday I found out that my dad is dying. I'm not a depressive person in any way, I always find the fun in something, but this has knocked me senseless. And the worst thing is I'm stuck in Stockport and can't get to him until tonight.

My dad took a paracetamol overdose last Thursday and currently his liver and kidneys are failing. I spoke...

I did psychology for two years and studied depression and I know what a horrible grip it gets on people, I just can't explain this situation through depression, 2 weeks ago he was getting married and hadn't a care in the world. That may seem like a completely oxymoron seeing as you wouldn't be killing yourself if you weren't depressed but I just have no idea.
zoophagous:
Wow, thats.....I don't even know what that is.
Sorry you have to deal with it though. Humans are strange animals, sometimes our actions can't be explained. Sometimes it is just usless to even question somthing that can not be changed, and so the easiest route is to just except it.
I wouldn't wish your experience on anyone, but since you have it you should learn from it......
