Right, first of all, there's no video on this, but feel free to let the awesomeness of Asian Kung-Fu Generation act as a soundtrack for this post
Right, so then, Happy Birthday to me. Big hugs and bad touching for everyone who sent birthday wishes, decide amongst yourself how those are to be apportioned. I spent my actual birthday itself rather quietly, just pottering around the house, playing games and wathcing some of the many DVDs I've been bought (amongst other presents) by lovely, lovely people.
No, the majority of the fun was on saturday night when we had the now-traditional Creamy Fanny birthday party. It started at the Game On exhibition at the Science Museum, wherein games were played, Sky beat me (and everyone else) at 'Fighting Street' (and got a right bee in her bonnet about it until TheQuestion brough him back down to Earth, whoop!) and then myself and almostfamous rocked out to Guitar Hero on a huge screen and intimidated the piss out of everyone queueing up behind us, go Team Nerd!
After that it was onto the Ben Crouch Tavern, whereupon everyone pressed their hospitality upon me and I was bought must alcohol, everyone was lovely and I felt somewhat embarrassed at hardly buying any drinks . But yes, lots of people turned up and the new people were, to a man, lovely. I really should ahve eaten something at the Ben Coursh while I had the chance, as things get a bit hazy once we reached Frog. I kind of remember seeing The Bronx, I kind of remember hanging around one of the upstairs bars, I don't remember that much else. My memory of JohnStitch's afterwards is a little better, I remember palying a whole lot of Wii and eating pizza. All the important stuff. In fact, I still have Wii arm, I really need to get into shape *sigh*
So all told it was an ace birthday, which helped seeing as how I'm becoming more and more anxious about my advancing years. My thanks to all you lovely people who bought me gifts and drinks and such and everyone who made it such an ace time. Just a shame that we might not have Fanny around for it next year

The war is still on, it's far worse than pussy gangland fighting, it's more like the battle for Helms Deep. Uiop (my right hand man) is the only notable casualty so far, he was a fine fighter and he made a really good cup of tea But 1000s of foot soldiers have been sent to their doom today
