Maybe I'm alone here, but I am really getting tired of seeing commercials in which CEOs of major corporations come on and talk about how much they value their workers during this pandemic. It makes me angry because I know this sentimental bullshit is all a show to make "them" look good. It's all about keeping their pockets full and to hell with everyone else. And these ads almost always have really tranquil piano music in the background. I love piano (I play) but hate hypocrisy. Honest people who genuinely care for others don't go out of their way to be seen.
Most of the corporations getting bailout money don't even need it while the working class continue to suffer just to put food on the table and keep the water and power going. It is absolutely infuriating.
That's my rant and I'm sticking to it.
Lastly, I love ice cream. That's not a rant. Just a fact. I was nominated to do the 50 things about me homework. So now, I only have 49 more to go.
