Dubai, Dubai, Dubai...
Well what can I say about this city other than totally amazing... When I arrived I was feeling totally spaced out due to a full day at the workshop followed by an 11 hour flight. After walking for about 3 hours just to get to Passport control I saw a line bigger than out side the Paramount on Saturday night (just minus all the teenie boppers and pretty boys) Finally after an hour of sleeping while standing up i made it to the font of the line where some rude prick finally stamped my PP. Bizar place... Anyway the rest of the airport experiance was fairly easy apart from being in a totally strange country.
Anyway to cut a long story short the training course was a breeze I aced the test. On my last night I discovered Dubais night life... Catching planes hungover is bad but catching planes still totally maggot in muslim country is kinda dangerous seeing as its illegal to drink or be drunk in public I was taking a fairly big risk... Oh well I'm home now and all is peachy I have 2 more bottles of burbon for my collection, 10000 more frequent flyer miles and well a sore head... I'm never drinking again!!!!!
In other news I'm starting to feel like a defective model... I had that litte episode a few weeks ago with my ex and all that but I had moved on from that but I am now wondering why is it so hard for me to meet a girl? I mean its all good havin' all these friends and I am totally greatful for having them but I really want a companion... hmmmmmm oh well I guess it might be the fact that I'm always the 3rd, 5th, 7th wheel given that all my mates have gf's...
Im looking forward to starting my new job, I am so damn tired from constantly being on the road for the past year... I mean ever since I went to PNG in September and found out my folks sold our house, moved to Toodyay and that I had to find my own place I havent really had a "home" I live with my brother now but all my stuff is still in storage and this place just dosent feel like home without my stuff, I mean I'm living out of a toilet bag and a back pack most of the time... sigh...
I'm off to see Suzi on Tuesday to figure out how to finish off my half sleeve! How excitement!
Bed time anyway... I'm takin my motorbike out tomorrow which shoul be good and then... Washing... OH JOY!
Untill next time people... Who feels like a drink next week?? Let me know!!!
