Dear Diary
Mood = Exhausted + Excited
Well how about that Christmas - New year holiday? That was an interesting couple of weeks. First we have Christmas the time for family, loved ones and for friends. This year I had lack of one... which hurt like all hell. One only understand how much it will hurt until it happens. I ended my 4 year relationship with Jeremy about 2 months ago now. It still hurts. *sigh* Stupid Jadles thought it would be a great idea to try and reconcile with Jeremy on Christmas Eve. WRONG! I spent over an hour and a half crying and wearing my heart on a sleeve, only to find out he had found someone else. Asshole. Could have told me before I started pouring my heart out. Something like, "Ok I understand that you want to get back together. But I have a girlfriend at the moment so it won't work". That i could've handled. But after an hour and a half!?!?!? Is it just me or is he trying to hurt me? I know the answer but I don't want to believe that someone i love so much wants to purposely hurt me.
Anyway...
So Christmas I spent in tears... and Boxing Day didn't get any better...
My brothers is the black sheep of the family. And not in a good way. He is a drug and alcohol abuser and only 15 years old! Anyways Boxing Day was Christmas with my mums side of the family. My brother starts swearing in front of their 2 year old and my uncle gets pissed... to cut a long sob story short... My dad has a broken arm and my brother with a broken nose. Thank God someone broke something of that little bastards. Don't get me wrong.. I love my brother.. but he is just a cunt... can i say that? He took swings at me for the goddess' sake! If he even touched my mother I would kill him. Simple.
Moving on...
So the next couple of days sucked a bit, but then my knights in shining armor took me away for a week. HURRAH!
I love my boys! Uni mates from campus back in Toowoomba. Will and Pete rock my world. The best friends in the world. Too bad they can't read this.
Jadles went to work on the Longy farm for a week. Where Jadles did lots of amazing and wonderful things. I really believe that you grow as a person when you get out in the country and do some hard work. No time to think about petty things like partners, brothers and money. It's just pure, therapeutic manual labor. By now your wondering what we actually did on the farm. Well we did lots of things! The main job we had to do was to tattoo and tag the calves born in 06. The bull calves unfortunately had to get their testicles removed. My job was to push the calves up the run... which proved a difficult task at times. We ended up with about 120 calves. Boy that was fun :S Mind you this was spread over 3 days. After that was the fun part. Mustering the cattle back to their paddocks. Jadles learnt to ride a horse!!!! And according to mum and dad (Rosie and Ian Long) I'm a natural
Me with Amber (the horse)
So rounding up the cattle and sending them home was a huge task. I think the final lot on Friday was about 70 calves + the adult cattle! It was a long trip home. But Jadles earned herself a cowboy hat and now is a Cowgirl! w00tage!
Me with a cowboy hat...
Here is Pete, Me and Will after a nice hard day of work
What else was there... Oh yeah!!! Jadles learned how to ride a motorbike!! I'm so awesome! It was really easy.. and i didn't fall off...
Me on the bike with my System shirt
But I did get thrown off a horse... Not Amber.. she was nice to me. Hero was a bit edgy having someone new ride him and got very skittish and pig rooted me right into the ground. But thanks to my super human reflexes I army rolled along the ground and got out of Hero's way. I fucked up my knee a bit and hurt my ass.. but other than that i'm fine. It was quite and experience!
What else did we do... Roo hunting! Kangaroo's are a huge pest in Australia. If you ever come over here... please do NOT eat kangaroo meat!! It is just swarming with worms and disease... eeewwwwwww but anyway here is a photo of Will Pete and I in front of 'Da A Team' post with the rifles..
And I think that is all I can bear to type.. but i love my boys... and they love me...
Here is the Longy Family (inc. the adopted Will and Jadles)

Thanks Diary.. You defiantly know how to cheer me up
