I am having a fantastic week so far. I found out that a big publishing company wants to publish my lab manual, not just for my university, but perhaps for other universities. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to hear that news. Less work for me (which was the point all along) as well as a publication credit.

Students have been slightly irritating, but I've been trying to approach them with a smile and optimism. I've seen a few friends in passing and they have not frustrated me in the slightest.

I love living in my own world. I can make all the rules and define all the boundaries of reality.
