Meeting new people sucks. Being relatively "new" to Colorado, I'm having to start all over in the friend-making department (as well as the eternal search for the wonderous significant other). It takes so much energy, especially for little old introverted me.
Meeting potential romantic interests online is the worst of my experiences so far...80% of the time, I waste my time and energy having coffee filled with getting-to-know-you chit chat. Often this means me listening to them talk about themselves until I must end the meeting and go home to throw a book at the wall. Then, they never call back. I mean WTF? I'm attractive. I'm intelligent. I express interest. Are they "just not that into me" and too much of a pussy to say so? Bah.
Can't the heavens just throw a perfectly good man or woman in my lap and say "There ya go, sweetheart. This is the perfect one for you."
