Hi! (hangs head in shame),
I cannot believe its ben 3 months since my last journal entry. The past few months have been crazy...between school, work, teaching, my sister having a baby, and depression, I could not muster the energy to come back to my beloved SG....but here I am ready to get back in the game!
So here's the scoop, school finished about a month ago for the summer. I ended up with an A in Statistics, a B+ in Experimental Design, and a B+ in a course for teaching. Overall not bad and a cumulative GPA of 3.6 something. I year down, 2 more years of coursework to go.
Teaching was a blast. I absolutely love it, and I got really good feedback from my students. They asked me to teach again next semester, but it conflicted with my full time job, so I had to turn it down.
My sister had her baby on May 12th. Dylan Matthew entered the world via c-section, was 9 lbs, 15 ozs (BIG boy), and 21 1/2 inches. I am LOVING being Auntie Anne, and he is so beautiful. Next time I post I'll have Justin put pictures in for me. It's hard to believe he'll be a month old tomorrow!
As for Justin and I, we are trudging along. June 1st was our 9 year anniversary. My depression has been getting in the way some, but luckily Justin is a trooper and has been sticking it out with me.
We're going away again the first week of July back to St. John. I'm really looking forward to the break. The past few months have been tough and I really need to decompress.
I have missed you all terribly. Hopefully I'll get to see you over the summer at various SG gatherings (and yes, I'm even cionsidering the camping trip). I will try my best to catch up on everyones' journals over the next week or so. I hope you are well...love you!
Anne
