Hi Everyone!!!
So, it's been quite a while since my last update. Since school started again I have been super busy, plus I'm teaching to boot. I LOVE TEACHING!!! I had no idea it would be soooo much fun, and I think I'm pretty good at it too. My students are great, and they actually call me Professor...isn't that cool!
As far as me going to school, all is well. I got my last grade for last semester which was a B+ in Theory. So that makes my GPA like a 3.65 or something. My mentor says I am doing really well and he has no doubt I will be able to successfully complete the PhD program. That's always nice to hear. I have decided on a dissertation topic. I'll have to narrow it down more, but the general topic will be the therapeutic use of animals in social work treatment. I figure this way I'll be able to combine my 2 loves, animals and social work.
All is well at home. Hubby is the best and I absolutely adore him. This June will be 9 years we've been married...it goes so fast. He is my bestest buddy, my true companion, and the love of my life...it doesn't get any better than that. I get to go home every day to my best friend and all my furry children...life is good!
We have 4 new foster kittens at home. They are about 4-5 weeks old. The two black ones are girls (Liv & Gwen), and the two grey ones are boys (Sampson & Shakes). They are adorable and keeping us on our toes.
