Well I have decided to just stop being gloomy.... Yep I'm going cold turkey.....
It kinda helped that in the last two days I have talked to 8 different employers and have set up interviews with 4. I might be getting a job here soon.
The other thing that helped was I updated my website while I was doing the whole moody I hate the world thing and all I am getting is positive feedback. I have had a few people suggest that I go and actively look for a freelance editorial or review type gig..... I guess being a smart ass works... Of course everyone suggesting that I look for a gig has no leads.... but one person had an interesting idea that I just start marketing myself to local publications saying 'look how cool I am I would be willing to make you a little cooler cause I am so cool so check out my website and then give me a job because I am cool'. I liked this idea especially when I explain the idea like this.... it makes me giggle.....
I have another visitor in my house and this guy is here for like 2 weeks..... This should be fun. We are talking about doing some touristy type stuff like going to crater lake and what not.... I have a wine festival on saturday and a car show too SO I am already way excited.... I also have been looking for dim sum in the state ..... any tips would be appreciated.... If you have not heard of dim sum, you are out of the loop.... Get in the loop dim sum rules!
