Hmmmmm.... I am focusing first on the weekend.... As I said before I was having visitors in.... They hit town early afternoon Saturday. We had a big barbecue meal and mixed drinks and a little straight vodka and straight apple brandy.... Soon it was late and bedtime was calling....

So Sunday.... We woke up when the sun pierced through the window and right into my face which was 8AM. I was on the couch so that was a new experience with the light and everything.... We had breakfast and then hopped into the car and headed to wineries.... Now you are probably thinking... This guy is an alcoholic..... well first off I ain't a quitter! hehehe and second off by the time we were up to going it was 12... so we hit three local wineries and that was fun. After that we followe dthe umpqua river up to a nice inn/restaurant called the Steamboat Inn... We had a late luncha nd then walked down to the river... which was beautiful.... Then we traveled home and had a great dinner.....

Today once again I was up way too early.... We all had breakfast and then the day split us apart... the friends heading to the airport.... pops to work..... my stepmom to writing a term paper and puttering around the house...... and me a little internet checking and off to town to try and get things done... I am going to apply the breaks here because I am not ready to address today.... yet... I am going to shift us into reverse to Friday........

So it's friday and I finally head down to Roseburg from Salem.... I have a phone number of a employer who called but I am not up to calling him until I make it home...... So I just hit the road..... I get there and I sit for a minute then I grab the phone and have a great conversation.... We set up a follow up for Monday at 2pm.... also on the phone..... My dad and I stay up late finishing Buffy the fourth season and move onto Buffy the 6th season.... It was on sale... so I decided to wait until the 5th was on sale too... So I check it... anyways we watch 7 episodes and call it a night.... I of course do my usual thing and hit the internet up.... I am addicted... I can't help it... I hang here for a minute then I look at amazon for more buffy goodness.......... I find season 2 for 22 dollars!! Total score!!! Which means once that one gets here I own Seasons 1, 2, 4 and 6 so i need 3 and 5 and the season not yet available.... Then I finally check my email and I have another interview for monday at 10 am.... of course that is central time and I am Pacific which means 8 am woohoo!!..... So now we will hit the fast forward button and restart Monday...

So I am up earlier than Sunday.... It is 7 am and I wake up... I make coffee and everyone else grabs a cup.... my stepmom starts heating up the bacon and the what not... I sit there and right as the food gets done my interview call comes in..... Great timing... Well 15 minutes later I am back at the breakfast table eating cold eggs, cold bacon and cold toast. It was still good then everyone leaves and I realize.... I totally had something that I was planning on sending with those two guys to take to my mom.... It is still here because I spaced it.... So I realize that that means I have to mail it.... So I go to my room and locate it and underneath is a video that was due back the Wednesday before.... Now most people would take this as a sign.... You know that they should mail the letter, return the video and call it a day..... I of course ignore the signs...... I decide that I am going to include a trip to the DMV to get my drivers license because Fridays mail included my social security card I had been waiting on..... Ok stay with me folks I manage a decent ending just stay with me.....


So I hit the video store first... I decide to go in and pay the fee today so that it isnt a nasty surprise the next time.....So I of course see the sale sign and I find some shitr to buy I spend 30 minutes making a decision and then I go pay for the now permanently mine movies and the late fee.... So that works out.... Kind of except if you recall I kinda sorta need a jobn but I jut can't help purchasing shit when I see that it is on sale.... Even movies I only sorta liked get purchased but still the deal was 3 dvd for 25 bucks and I only got three and I had to choose between 9.... normally I would buy them all............. So that was good right... I head to the post office and that goes smoothly..... My next stop the dmv.... SO the dmv moves quickly to my number which is 25 spots higher but I sit 15 minutes tops.... I head up and the guy is looking shit up and starts asking me weird questions like have I ever been to Sacramento or Fort Collins.... My inner alarm starts ringing because I remember this scenario happened before in Flagstaff and I ended up with a suspended license and no insurance and I had the daunting task of proving that I was innocent of any wrong doing... Which was no easy task..... See I have a super common name, my name is so common that I had a guy in my college dorm three doors down with the same first middle and last name..... He also had the same birth montha nd bieth year... our only difference was the birthdate and that he was a very large black man..... Anywas the guy says well you need to take the test and that costs 5 dollars.... So I ask how much for the license and he is like 55 and I say I bet all you take is check or money and he says exactly....... Well I have 16 bucks in my pocket so I can take the test... I will get the money after... I figure everything was miraculously cool since he is allowing me to take the test.... So I take the test and pass....... I go back up to him and he says "Have you ever been to New Jersey" I say no... He looks at a print out and then flips the page and says "How about Sacramento?" I say no.... and by now I know what he is about to tell me and I am getting super pissed..... "Well you have a very common name....."
And? I say.....
"well when I pull it up it pulls a lot of names up.... and all of them don't have great records... I say "ok... pull it by ss#"
He says "well here is the problem this suspension in Bakersfield has no ss# the only thing it has is your name and your exact date of birth....."
He looks at em and I stare a whole through him cuz I am doing everything I can not to beat the shit out of him.... I know that he is following rules but god damn it what the fuck.... Will I go through this every 4 years? Anyways he starts telling me what I will need to do to prove my innocence... I will need to call bakersfield and explain that I am having trouble getting a license because of this fucking asshole that can't fucking drive in there fucking shithole of a town that I can't even stand to drive through let alone stay long enought o do something bad enough to warrant a suspension..... So he writes down all the info about the contact number the other drivers license and my soon to be new one and tells me I can still use my AZ license...... hmmmmmmmm..... so he can't get me a new license because of this but somehow he can tell that my AZ license is a legitimate drivers license...... SO the fact that I have had an AZ License for over 11 years means nothing.... somehow I have also managed to miraculously geta new license without either one being notified...... OK so it could hapen but you know what why would I be in bakersfield? Can someone give me agood fucking reason???????

So I get outside and look down it is almost 2 pm which is my second interview so I delay calling the bakersfield fuckheads and wait for the call... I am still waiting at 2:30... SO I make the other call and find out assmunch gave me a disconnected number.... So I will be hunting down the number tomorrow....

So I am pissed..... I mean really pissed and I decide to go to Arby's and well that sucked.... SO I drive home all mad.... until I see a sign for another winery I hadn't tried and I sit there and do a tasting and all of a sudden with a little wine I am happier.... Then when my dad comes home we watch 7 more episodes of the 6th season of buffy and I decide that everything will be handled tomorrow even dickface who did not call for the interview he fucking set up.....


Ok so here is a recap... the interview on Tuesday..... no chance that I am in the running the 48 hours came and went.... The girl I lamed out on.... also lost.... see that is the problem with laming out.... most of the time you can only try once.... I didn't.... SO like I said I suck....


So I had another interview..... I went into Portland and had an interview with some bloke at ITT Tech.... I don't think its a go..... My gut instinct says he will find a better candidate....And I don't really care.... if you've been reading I said 9 interviews.... that asshole was only number 3..... Number 4 will happpen tomorrow or monday via the telephone.... The first interviewing ccompany has called back so I will be calling them tomorrow.... SO I am hanging in there and trying to keep a good perspective....

So I need to get home and kick it with bun bun.... she is in my pics if you want to see her......
