I've managed to beat the beast to a bloody pulp such that it has dragged its' realm of negative effect back into the dark crevice in my mind that it came from. Diving head first into physical activity (mostly Kung Fu class; 6 classes in 7 days...) that leaves me too exhausted to ponder imponderables about my life. Obviously a stop-gap method of dealing with a problem, but at least I'll be in great shape if I stay depressed.

arachnequarius:
now that sounds like a vaguely productive use of depression. plus, the endorphines may actually make you feel better. hope that it helps!

I get depressed about being out of shape, so I eat.... it is a viscious circle... but it is kinda like what you do... the similarity is that I eat chinese food, not practice chinese kung fu. hehe
