Nevermind... I found, miraculously, a $20 bill tucked in the small pocket or a pair of jeans I haven't worn in months, so I just bought it off of Amazon.

Now it's my broke-ass ego that's bruised and bloody.
My Creative Writing teacher and I are on this sort of more than student-teacher, less than friend basis right now, and since we have this ridiculous obsession with reading, and the Book Club at my school was going to be discussing Twilight (a book my teacher and I both read.) she figured I should join up.

Sounds like a plan!

However, the main idea behind a book club is you BUY THE BOOK, then read the book, and discuss the book.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to do so... y'know. Being poor. =[

So, here I am, if any of you have the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe chilling out in your bookcase and you wouldn't mind paying the postage to mail it to me for a week and a half, I'd love you.

Forever.

My local library, and all of the libraries associated with my local library, don't carry it.

I'm afraid I don't, but have you looked for a torrent of the .doc file?
I download most of my books these days, although from newsgroups.
You may be able to find an e-version out there.
