Ahhhh! Good weekend. Even though I got to my Gramma's way later than I was hoping.
I called Marie when I walked in the door though, and ended up at her house for the night. She and Sara were making a giant gnome to put on our old art teacher's yard. (He looks like a gnome... it's a long-running joke.) Anyway, Sara barely eats anything and Marie and I were starving, so we waited for her to pack up and head to the car before speeding to Eat'n'Park.
Saturday was dull, but I didn't get a whole lot of sleep the night before, so it was nice just getting to sit around and do nothing.
There was an all day show at the Corner Pocket on Sunday, and the bands were actually *gasp* good. So, I spent the majority of the day bouncing between playing pool, getting beat up in the pit, and chain smoking. Speaking of the pit, Blick just so happened to punch the fuck out of my arm during one song... there's now a bruise on my right forearm about the size of a softball... and it's all green and brown, with some deep purple at the base. I'd like to take pictures, but I want to catch it at its best coloration. *laughs*
Monday, I had fun avoiding relatives and my Gramma's macaroni salad. Later on that night, I got a little sad about graduation and everything else that's going on, so I wandered over to Marie's and we ended up at Eat'n'Park again. Upon leaving there, we ran into a crap load of kids from school, and ended up making small talk for another twenty minutes before going home.
Lesson learned: Wal*Mart punishes smokers. My cigarettes, usually about $4 before tax at Sheetz and the like, were $6 after tax at Wal*Mart.
Damn you, Wal*Mart. Someday, I will boycott your sinister convenience.

I'm all about making cigarettes more expensive. Gives smokers a reason to quit, besides the obvious risk of long painful diseases and smelling bad.
