So, I'd like to poses a couple questions, but let me give you a little back story first. I'm eating chow(dinner) with a buddy and were talking about relationships. Now me and him are about the same age, he's married I'm not, and never have been. We get on the subject of standards, and I know that sounds bad, but everyone has them. I say I don't think my standards are too high. I want a woman that is attractive to me, could give a shit less what anyone else thinks, she doesn't have be tall, short, skinny, big boobs, small boobs, have an ass, not have an ass, I really dont care about that, I just want her to be attractive to me. I want someone that I get along with, that I have fun with, that generally likes the same things as me and likes to do the same things as me. I mean this is the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with. He agrees with me that the those standards aren't high, but then he says the same thing that I've heard from my mother and a 1,000 other people, when you stop looking, that's when you'll find that special person.
Now, my two questions are:
1. Does anyone think that my standards are too high?
and
2. Does, when you stop looking, you'll find that special person, make sense to anyone? Cause it makes no sense to.
I mean to we ever really stop looking. When you first meet someone, that you find attractive, doesn't everyone have that thought of could this be the one. Or am I just an idiot.
Any input would be great, thanks.
Zach
