It has been an adventurous two weeks since graduation. Got to take a trip to see my lady in Colorado before making the move. Some tension in our relationship has caused doubts and fears in both our minds so the trip was great in helping to settle a few things. It also helped me get away from things back home before I spent a lot of time with family. Always 3 family Christmas parties, plus the one with just the immediate family or parents and siblings. Now the fun begins of job searching and applications to try and make some sort of living when I first arrive. I always hate job searching, tedious and nerve racking tasks. But it is a necessary evil. Hopeful for a head coaching position at a local high school but doubtful I will actually get the position. Cannot wait until I get the chance to coach some kids, to give back to the running community through youth. It is a sport that has shaped me in to the man I am and will continue to mold me until I die. It was nice to find out that my best friend has decided to join me on the adventure to Colorado. He is much more adventurous than I am, having already spent a 9 month stint in Florida just after he graduated. So he will be good support and just nice to have another familiar face around. Just over a week until I am driving myself and my best friend to a new adventure!
