Today marks 6 years the wife and I have been married. Pretty insane. I never thought I would be married, let alone for 6 years. This is a pretty intense relationship. I love my wife to death. We met on the internet when I was still stationed in Hawai'i and started talking back and forth over IMs, email, and on the phone. We met for the first time face-to-face on President's Day weekend after I got stationed at Parris Island and we were married a week later. We got married in the back of a flower shop, and her mom said it wouldn't last longer than 3 months. I always throw that last part in to remind her mom that she said that. Sometimes I think it pisses her off, because she was wrong, but I think sometimes she is glad she was wrong. A lot of people tell my wife and I just how much in love w/ each other we are, that you can see it. I told my sister-in-law, last weekend at her wedding, that I am sorry I didn't give her sister a big wedding, but all I wanted was to be married to her sister and I didn't want to wait. My wife and I have no regrets, and we have two beautiful little girls that I absolutley worship. They are the center of my world, and may the Godesses and Gods have mercy on the soul of anyone that messes w/ them. Other than that nothing new is going on. We will probably go to dinner and a movie tonite.I wanted to go to the Mastadon concert, but she isn't really the concert type, so we will do what makes her happy. If you can't comprimise or sacrifice, how do you expect to make it last?
