"Native Spirit" is a tribute to my culture and heritage. After recently undergoing enormous transformations in my life, I have never been more proud to call myself Native American. I felt the perfect location for this set would be outside, where I feel most at peace. I chose a beautiful location down a long gravel road, with a field that overlooks the river, on the outskirts of the small town I live in. I love to escape to this location for times of self-reflection and needed serenity. With the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday just passing, and American Thanksgiving fast approaching, I thought it would be the perfect time to creatively express my gratitude towards my culture and heritage.
