Yah, it's me. Long time, eh? I've been so busy with writing (and with work) that I've let everything else slip a bit. So, sorry! I'm still here. Just making myself a cup of tea right now so forgive me if it's a bit of reading before this blog makes sense. Caffeine needs time to kick in.
Speaking of, I had a coffee too late yesterday afternoon and I was awake until 2am last night. Not fun. But I got a sleep in so I'm alright. Just annoyed with myself. Irresponsible use of caffeine. That said, the cafe I went to had the following message on it's blackboard out the front.
Are you from Melbourne? We'd like to know if our coffee is good.
I love the sarcasm of Canberra's cafe culture. I really should have taken a photo of it, but I'm too old. I forget about Instagram and even my mobile phone sometimes. *waves walking cane threateningly*.
SO! Quick thanks to everyone for giving some love to my two sets up in Member Review (not bought yet). I read and appreciate every one of those comments and it's so nice to watch the 'i loved it' count go up. So thankyou. I'm glad you like them! Here's one of my fave shots from the new one:
I've not had any sets that I've been involved with up on SG since my own, but you're in for a big treat soon. The following Aussie gals have photosets coming out by myself and @Exkyu over the next four weeks: @pebblezink @vorpal @peggysue @electra @christina @aubreyx @twitchling @soho PHEW! Those sets were all (save Pebbles's) were shot at the Melbourne Shootfest back in July this year. Make sure you're following everyone. Those sets are going to be amazing. They're some of our best work.
Speaking of shootfests, @pebblezink is organising our BIGGEST EVER Aussie shootfest in Sydney this summer! It's going to be incredible. If you're an Aussie hopeful or just a member that wants to shoot for the site, go get in contact with one of the participating photographers: @exkyu @puffin @twinrova @trickett and @atlanticlungs and save yourself a slot before they're all gone (I'd estimate we'll all be booked up within a week). Fuck this blog is just turning into a big-ass namedropping spree. I'm sorry. Here's another picture of me. I went for a drive into the middle of nowhere one Sunday. CAN I SAY I AM LOVING THIS WARM WEATHER. So excited for summer to roll around in Australia. I love my summer Christmas and New Year's Eve. It's so nice to have 'summer break' at the end of the year too. You Northern Hemispherians are really missing out on something magical. Nothing beats wishing one another a happy fucking christmas and then drenching your santa hat in chlorine from the swimming pool. Think about it. I know you won't.
More tattoo soon! It's so frustrating having it half done. People keep asking me if it's finished and I'm all ?? WHAT DO YOU RECKON MATE ?? No. It's not finished. But that's ok, it's art. It takes time.
