Just a quick note because my multi is on the front page RIGHT NOW! The girl in the set with me is @christina and I have no idea why SG hasn't included her name along with mine. So go add her too! Thanks!!
I almost caught hypothermia because of SG two weeks ago! I shot a photoset up in a mountain valley at a historic homestead and it was only a couple of degrees celsius, mostly overcast and windy. And my hearing was close to cutting out by the end of it. I've never been so cold in my whole life. Not when I shot One Ring, not when I shot Australia (when it was sleeting out). That windchill factor killed me. It was okay when it was sunny but once it clouded over I was a mess. I haven't really gone through the photos properly yet but on first glance it looks like I've got enough for a set. I guess we'll see how we go!
I got to hang out with @pebblezink and @twiggythespider and @exkyu too (pronounced like the letters X and Q, apparently there's been some debate). The girls were on reflector duty. And that's Ex's coat above.
It was a pretty cool location with some amazing views and background stuff. I love this amazing country. I don't know if you guys have noticed, I am submitting sets outdoor-indoor-outdoor-indoor as much as I can because there is such an amazing set of outdoor locations and stuff I can shoot at just at my disposal and it seems like such a waste to just shoot indoors! But speaking of indoor sets, my photoset with @christina Countina got picked up by SG! I am super happy for us. That makes eight sets purchased by the site for @exkyu and that is amazing. He needs to be made staff soon. It's getting nuts.
Over that same weekend we shot two sets of @pebblezink. One was shot in my lounge room which has already been submitted to the site and you'll get to see it in a few months. Here's a preview!
And we also shot an amazing set in the same valley outside (though, it was sunny which was good because she didn't freeze). @twiggythespider took some amazing polaroids that I can show you, check it out:
And some from my shoot too!
Here's Ex doing his thing. I'm always making fun of the fact that he always finds something to climb on. I was thinking that there was NO WAY he could climb on anything out in the bush but he found something.
AND THEN this weekend just passed, I drove to Adelaide and had an adventure! I love Adelaide, it's so beautiful. The buildings and the amazing deciduous trees and the German food. And so much history even though it's a newer city than Sydney and Melbourne. I wish it wasn't so far away!! I will definitely post some pics from that adventure in the next blog but till then...
Here's me on a bouncy bouncy suspension bridge in Balranald, NSW!
