Hello everyone! I seem to have gotten a whole bunch of new followers because SG featured me over on Facebook. Unfortunately, they picked a picture of me with no visible tattoos so I hear that I've gotten a whole heap of crap on there because none are showing/visible. I don't look at comments over on Facebook because they can be really really horrible (bunch of jealous 14 year old's, I'm guessing) but here's my response to those kinds of comments if anyone wants to have a go at the haters:
Haha.
The weather has been dreadful here, it's actually so hot that I think if I went outside for more than about fifteen minutes, I'd get heatstroke and third-degree sunburn. It's so dangerous this time of year, I wish people were more aware of it. There are news reports all over of people locking kids and pets in their cars, driving over long grass causing sparks/fires, going on adventures without enough water, not looking after the elderly who can't deal with forty plus degrees... *shakes head*
I did go out on an adventure on on of the slightly cooler days with @hanhan and @exkyu we went for a walk and came across some crazy futuristic kid's park. I haven't been a kid in a while, but I definitely don't remember playgrounds being this interesting and interpretative.
Giant stone daleks and crazy spaceship climbing equipment. Haha. A lot of the metal slides and stuff were too hot to climb on. I should go back there today and try to fry an egg on the metal. I think it'd actually work today.
Speaking of food, I've updated my youtube channel and talked a bit about my tattoos and how tattoos hurt less now that I'm on the paleo diet (which is what my channel is about).
Also, I'm looking for an artist who can help me put together a sketch for my half-sleeve tattoo. I want a art nouveau Alphonse Mucha style piece of the goddess Athena (with her owl and gorgon shield and helmet). I had someone organised to do the sketch, but haven't heard back in AGES so I figured I'd toss the idea over to you guys and see if anyone wanted to step up or had any recommendations for professionals I could go to. I know I can get my tattoo artist to do the sketch for me, but I always feel like I have to say 'yes that's great, let's do it' right away (usually because the tattoo is booked and ready to go once they've shown it to me) and I want a bit more back and forth than that. Or at least something a bit better developed than basic concepts to show them.
That's all the exciting news I have at the moment! Because a whole bunch of newbies are reading this, have some links:
