I FINALLY HAVE THE INTERNET AGAIN YESSS!
I spent the last week or so moving house. Someone stole the venetian blinds out of my old place and now I might have to replace them so I am pretty annoyed about that. But the new place is AMAZING. It's smaller than any other place I've lived in before (just one bedroom - I am keeping a lot of stuff in my garage, I HAVE A GARAGE, because my car is totally not worthy of it). But it's meant I have had to do a massive massive clear out of all my junk which is wonderful. It feels so liberating to throw things away. I know that sounds crazy but there you have it.
Conveniently, I had access to a basically empty place for the duration of the Canberra Shootfest! It was a massive success and lots of great sets were shot. I am working through the edits on some of them right now. As a matter of fact, there are a LOT of Real Life Friends in the Member Review Queue at the moment!

The first one submitted from the Canberra shootfest was of me. Har har. Couldn't help myself. But it was one of those sets where the lighting was really even and the winners were really easy to pick. I feel like I have let myself go a bit in terms of my fitness and how my body looks, but when I was going through this set I was actually shocked at how lean I looked. I know that's strange, I think a lot of girls particularly just assume they're 'bigger' than they really are. I'm not sure. I really pushed the envelope with a lot of poses and I am actually super happy with how it all turned out. I am really trying to become a better model and I think experimenting is an important part of that. Anyway, the set is all about how awful modernism is and that it's human nature to ornament. I will have to write up a good long description for the set before it goes up. I don't think many people know about the joke that is Adolf Loos' speech 'On Ornament and Crime' and how it set back aesthetics for so so long. I've wanted to do a set about aesthetics/architecture for a long time. And to show off my beautiful work desk so I hope this goes over well. Anyway, here's a teaser:

Yay! I was there for this set. It's so beautiful. Not long now!!
Christina - Puffin
I shot a multi with Christina for the Canberra Shootfest. Not even close to getting to it yet, but this one is a winner too.
Aubreyx - Puffin
Can't wait for this girl to go pink!! Haha.
Jaquerabbit - Puffin
I want to see this girl's boobies already
Nekophilliac - Exkyu
I directed this set too. Really excited to see what you guys think. Also I think I am getting really good at naming sets. How nice does 'Evening Rhapsody' sound? Haha. I wish the queue wasn't so LONG! I just want to see what you guys think of all of these!!
Anyway, so at the Canberra shootfest we shot me (the Ornament and Crime set), Christina, TwiggyTheSpider and a multi of myself with Christina. All of which are yet to be submitted but they're next on the list of Aussie hotness! I am actually getting really really excited for the Sydney Shootfest in late October because the Canberra one was such a success. And I know that was just one photographer and we had loads of time and that the Sydney one will have multiple photographers and a much tighter schedule, but it's going to be amazing. So many beautiful sets will come out of it, I can just feel it! Oh and if anyone is interested in participating and getting a set shot, message me and I'll send you the details.
The Recruitment Party is now up on the Hot Damn facebook page and also the Suicidegirls facebook page so if you know anyone who lives in Sydney and would make an amazing SG, please go ahead and invite them!
Anyway, I feel like I am jumping all over the place with this blog at the moment, here's a poster for the SG party in Sydney that I got printed out. I decided to wrangle together all the SG's at the Canberra shootfest and take a group shot with it, it came out so cute!
Allura, Countessa and Christina
I got the poster to put up out the front of the venue so people would know where to find us. It says 'hey lady' on it because that's how SG staff always addresses me when they email/post on the forums and it seems to be the classic greeting on here. I really need to get promoting this event more. Also, if you've relieved promotional material off me and haven't given it out to hawt ladies or postered it up around town yet, GET ORN WIF IT!
I don't really have a whole lot else to tell you. I made a tshirt and put it on redbubble! It's pretty fun:
'Books are better than boys'. Haha. I also made one that just says No. I really like making geeky t-shirts, I wish it could be my fulltime gig. Maybe one day!
That's all I got, hope you're going gangbusters wherever you are.
