Hi new followers!
This is basically going to be a bit of an 'about me/intro' blog because my new set hits the front page tomorrow and I've been featured across the SG social networks fairly thoroughly over the past week. So there are a lot of new followers. Hello!!
I'm Countessa Suicide, most people just call me Tessa or Tess, not Count and never Countie.
I look like this:
I'm an Aussie, I live in Canberra, which is actually not as bad as everyone likes to think it is. I am a massive bookworm, I love reading and I also write a lot too. I'm obsessed with SuperWhoLock (Supernatural, Doctor Who, BBC Sherlock). I am an architecture graduate and I design houses for a living. I am a paleo dieter. I love the paleo diet, it has helped my health massively over the 2yrs I've been eating this way. I actually have my own YouTube channel (which is in sore need of updating) all about paleo eating.
See? It works:
I've been an SG since June 2009 and this site is fucking awesome. A whole chunk of my real world friends are from this site. This site has gotten me laid, it's gotten me friends, it's gotten me employment, and so so many wonderful party times. Luckily, you guys seem to like me as much as I like you. I've had nothing but opportunity and excitement thrust my way since going pink on here and I am honoured to be one of the (too few) Aussie SG's.
Tez, Sin, Scotty, MadDame, Allura, Christina and me from late 2009.
Here's me with the SG Australia crew from last year's annual ball in Brisbane. It was 'gamer' themed so we all dressed up as various characters... well, I just found a ninja outfit and went with it. Don't judge.
I went through the hopeful process back in '09 and it's just gotten more and more difficult every year for girls to go pink. Which is awesome because it means the site is more popular but hard on the girls... Hopefuls, I really do understand how hard it is. If you're in Canberra or Sydney, please get in touch and I can organise some shoots for you. I shoot sets along with Exkyu (he points the camera, I decide poses/manage the shoot/do post production). We're a great team and we've had 3 sets bought now! Including the one that goes up tomorrow!
Here's me being an SG cheerleader. This is the SG hoodie I modelled for the site's store. Woo woo:
I have two tattoos, a bird on my back:
and a Dumbledore quote on my ankle:
I've also had open heart surgery (I was born with a hole in the heart) so I have quite a few fun scars:
I love that I don't have to photoshop them off for SG. How amazing and awesome is that?! I want more tattoos. It's just a matter of scheduling them with an artist in Sydney.
I'm also pretty darn short-sighted. I don't know of many people who have stronger glasses than me who aren't actually partially blind. I'd like Lasik laser eye surgery one day (I've been told I am a good candidate, thick corneas and all that) but I wonder if I'd miss my glasses too much. They are such a big part of me now.
My parents love me:
I am really into aesthetics, beauty and decoration. Through architecture, photography, interior design, writing, drawing, tattoos etc. I'm also really into sustainability, environmentalism and self-sufficiency. I love kissing girls. I'm pretty big into politics these days, despite the depressing state of political discourse in this country. I speak Greek, albeit, terribly. Also my boobs are natural. I listen to metal, heavy rock, alternative, punk, awful Greek music and a lot of wartime music lately too. My favourite authors at the moment are Stephen Moffatt and Mark Gatiss (Doctor Who and Sherlock), JK Rowling (Harry Potter), Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and JRR Martin (A Song of Ice and Fire). I have a mug to prove it, I drink tea with this when I am writing...
I'm actually sort of obsessed with tea. I did a 15min video on youtube exclusively on the subject which is ridiculous, but there you have it.
Here's me with tea:
I'm also a big Lord of the Rings/Hobbit fan, so my new set is themed on that. I was lucky enough to go to New Zealand and see a lot of the places where they shot the movies, the place where Exkyu and I shot the One Ring set was actually the valley where Weta CGI'd in Gondor! I consider myself a Gondorian, though for the purposes of this set, I went more elvish:
I spend a LOT of time online. I work from home at a computer all day so I kinda have too much access to the internet. I am slowly working on getting my procrastination under control. I really want to save up and buy a place soon. Oh I have a Twitter and quite recently I got an Instagram account too, which is lots of fun.
I'm kinda obsessed with my hair:
That's all I can think of! I hope this was fun and educational! I drink wine. I am hungover right now. Sorry if this was boring or I sound silly. I don't know. Here's a pic of my cats to round everything off. Meow.
xx
