I bought The Hammer Horror Collection. It contains six films featuring either Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, or both. I watched the three Dracula films and loved them all. I can't believe how remarkable they appear after nearly four decades. It's amazing what DVD can do.
The new roommate moved in. No troubles so far. He seems to keep to himself even more than I do, which is pretty amazing, actually. We get along well and don't bother each other. I think the living situation this Summer will be just fine.
I have a couple cookies left if anyone wants them.

Yes, that Hammer Collection from Warner is great. They did an awesome job on the transfers.
Yes, I have tons of films... lots of lasers (around 1000) and around 2000 DVDs...and i can't even guess on VHS. I do have a lot of early Criterion laser which someday i hope to transfer to DVD...because some lasers do, eventually, rot....and i hope DVDs don't do that some day.
There aren't a lot of sites devoted to TOMIE. It's not that well known here although the mangas were released here. There is a website called, i think, Lady Snowblood, which had a review...my computer crashed awhile back and i lost all my weblinks or I would have sent you the link. The series is not as awesome as Ringu (or the video version of Ju-on), but it's well done.
take care!
i don't have the energy to start a new one
