Don't you just hate getting stood up? I mean, if you're going to invite someone to go somewhere to spend time together, shouldn't you at least tell them that you aren't going to make it. I tried calling and texting but no answer. :( Well, i was super bummed out but I wasn't going to waste my day waiting for them. So I went and found the lava tube lookout, and then climbed up the side of koko head crater to the ridge all the way up to the top where the stairs are. I hope no one ever takes the route I took up to the ridge, it was absolutely retarded and dangerous. I only did it because I didn't want to walk down the highway again, i would've turned back but I was already so far in I was like shit I've gone this far i can't, there's no point.
I don't know what I stumbled onto here, I hope it's not some spot for satanic rituals haha
