Recently Melody from Suicide Girls had her dog Sydney diagnosed with Heartworm Disease a serious and potentially fatal disease in dogs if left untreated.

Although heartworms can be fatal and treatment for the disease involves risk, the condition is nearly always curable.

Unfortunately the treatment can be fairly expensive, and Melody's current financial situation makes it impossible for Sydney to get the treatment he needs.

After reading about it in her journal I decided to try to do something about it and came to the realization that if we here in the SG community could make even a small donation we could help her out and help save Sydney's life.
