Last night I made it look like some girl was on the rag and decided to walk around the hall and stairs without any pants or panties on. This is what happened.
So I made a drink and put it in a water bottle so I could put it in my purse and carry it over without getting stopped by DPS. I made a Jolly rancher which is sweet and sour mix, grenadine, schnapps, and vodka. For those of you that don't know, grenadine is extremely sticky. MY birthday I freaked out because I got grenadine on me and I HATE being sticky. I then proceeded to run to the bathroom whining about being sticky and scrubbed my hands. But I digress.
So my friend and I are on our way back from the Pike hall and we're laughing at the drunk things people said. For instance "I had a boy once. He sailed across the Atlantic!" And "My weiner talks to me and tells me I'm going to have sex with....YOU!" We are both sober. I wasn't really in the drinking mood so I only had a couple sips of my drink and she had a couple beers. I get back to my room and realize my bottle looks rather empty. The bottle opened in my purse where my phone was currently residing. I immediately turned it off and took off the plastic case. I went over it with a damp paper towel and then dried it. I took it apart to look for damage and wiped it off again. I used a blow dryer on low and cool air for a couple seconds on it. I have yet to turn it back on. I'm scared too because I don't want it to short out. Thank god I got insurance on it!
Everything else in my purse were sticky too. Luckily the rest were things I could wash off in the sink. I had to dump out my purse and then go in with wet paper towels and then dry paper towels. I haven't tried to touch it today so I don't know if it worked. It got all over my extra bed and my floor. I washed a floor a little bit ago. I'll have to put the bedding in the washer. Oh so how does that relate to my opening statement? I went into the wash room to get things cleaned up and a friend of mine told me to go look at the stairs. My purse had been leaking all the way back! There was a trail from the front door all the way to my room!!!! After my 1:30 class I'm going to take my phone over to T-Mobile and see what they say about it. Hopefully it won't take long because I have to eat dinner and go to class at 6. My mom thinks this is hilarious. I'm so glad I have a supportive family.
It's been nice having things kind of calm around here. That will all change next week. I have a 5 page research paper due next week. I also have a 15 page research paper to start and a presentation to make. Shortly after all that I will have another 15 page research paper to write. Then I have a HUGE test in Greek and after that we are translating the New Testament. Someone should probably tell my professor that it's been done already!
