I just completed Candide by Voltaire. I like that you have to think more in depth to really understand what Voltaire is trying to say. It seemed to go along with nowadays things when speaking of the evils humans do to one another and all the talk of war. Maybe we haven't come as far as we had like to think since the eighteenth century. All in all I really enjoyed the book. It made me think of Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift which is another fantastic book, once you get past all the unimportant details he uses. By this I mean I feel that Swift spent too long describing things that did not matter in the big picture. I will start Wicked tomorrow. I cannot wait!
Saturday was a rough night for me. It was my friend's 21 birthday. We began at a bar in my home town and had my best friend's boyfriend buy us our beers since he's of legal age. Then we moved to a bar of a neighboring town and caught wind of a kegger going on a couple blocks away. We knew no one at this kegger. We just randomly showed up. Some guy was trying to open the gate when a fight broke out. My best friend and I did not care. There was beer that had to be drank! So I climbed a fence in heels. Then a girl I've known since fourth grade and I broke into this guy's house after he kicked everyone out because we had to pee unbelievably bad! Seriously, our bladders were so full our whole bodies would have exploded if we held it any longer. When we finished and came out she told the guy I was her girlfriend while asking for her brother (meaning the birthday boy, who isn't her brother but actually her cousin) and the guy tried to get us to stay with him. We went back to the bar and had a couple shots with beers in between. Apparently I had a whole other shot that I do not remember all for the low low price of a kiss on the cheek. Sunday was not my friend.
I am now in contact with the Lexington location of the job I applied for. I filled out a whole other application for that location so that we did not have to go through the process of waiting for the hiring manager in Cincinnati to fax my original application. I'm calling the Lexington location back tomorrow to schedule an interview. Hopefully this means everything is starting to fall into place and I need it to. The hnt for an apartment is going well. I just have to decide what I can afford and what I cannot.
In other, but let's face it, less important news I have cut back on my caffeine intake dramatically. I drink one Mountain Dew early in the morning and that is it. I could knock out a twelve pack in three days by myself no problem. It was bad. I went days with a horrible, unforgiving headach. I have noticed a difference though. I'm going to bed earlier and I'm getting up earlier so I am no longer wasting my day. I'm also sleeping better and waking up refreshed. I feel that this will all be pointless when I go back to school though and it comes to late night study/cram/homework/ sessions and then I'll start all over next summer.
Three weeks and five days until I move back to Lexington. The count down continues.

I never got to Calculus. I'm good at math, but I hate it. Fortunately, I was good enough to test out of having any math in college. I made it through to graduation without having to take any math. I did want to take geometry since it taps into the philosophy/logic side of my interests, but they wouldn't ket me do it without takign a bunch of prereqs, so fuck them.
