I finished Catch-22 today. Finally. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I didn't dislike it and I didn't love it. I guess it could be said that it was okay. If one would not read it, one would not be missing out. I think I was expecting a lot out of it though. I heard a lot of "This book is fantastic! It's so funny!" I didn't really find any parts that made me laugh out loud, but a couple made me smile. DO NOT OPEN SPOILER IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK AND PLAN TO SOMEDAY!!!!
That being said I did go and buy new books the other day. I'm excited to read them and can't decide what to read next. Here are my choices.
Wicked- Gregory Maguire (I'm really excited about this one. The musical is amazing)
Uncle Tom's Cabin- Hariet Beecher Stowe
Candide- Voltaire (I'm really excited about this one as well)
The Adventures of Huck Finn- Mark Twain
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer- Mark Twain.
I'm thinking I'll start with Candide and then move to Wicked. I'll go from there. Any thoughts of recommendations of books to look out for?

You made some damn good choices there, I hope when I quit my job I will have more time to read.
If you have not read great expectations then I would read that, it is a great book.
