I almost died on Wednesday. If collasping on the floor from a severely high fever is not a sign that without medically evasive action death is imminent, then what?

It was only the fourth time in my life I have escaped death... I saw a glimpse of the Grim Reaper. He wore a Bush shirt. skull

Why is it that if you think enough and long enough about someone, they pop up in your life, or so it seems? surreal

Friday night I had a weird dream (alright, so all my dreams are weird) and to fully appreciate the weirdness you must know that I took some constitutional law classes in college. In the dream, I dreamt I was playing Playstation in my bedroom. I then dreamt there were two police officers outside the room, wanting to search the room without a warrant. See, legally,...

A few nights ago I was hanging out at a bar with a few friends. During the evening, while I was doing that, a hot chick went approached one of the guys with her phone number all written out on a napkin, saying that she wanted him to call her.

About half an hour later the guy was like, "Dude, I'm going to try her...

I'm on a vacation in North Carolina -- from Florida -- and here's the difference between people accustomed to natural disasters and everyone else. In Florida, whenever there is severe weather, like tornado warnings, local television stations put scrolling text at bottom of the screen and usually also a little box with the latest doppler radar. If the station does interpret broadcasting, it's for a...

I graduated college after six and a half years. While I know it's a hard-earned achievement to be proud of and something worthy of congratulations, it seems that people are more excited than I am.

Me: I graduated.
People: Oooh yaaay! Good for you!
Me: Yeah.

Also, in retrospect, the college experience was weird: the first four years were marked with excitement, vigor; followed by...

House music is classical music: Why?

Something I realized some time ago but have never been able to satisfactorily articulate why is that house music a modern version of classical music; that if we modernized classical music by along with audio samples adding a beat to it, we have house. Beside from the technical standpoint that house music is rooted in regular instruments, house is...

i think you're absolutely right... but, house music also has those distractions during the journey when the vocals or samples don't fit too well. i think a better example of modern day classical is trance... on the dot. trance is the ultimate emotional rollercoaster. personally, i'm not too fond of most trance and prefer hard house beats and florida "funky" breaks. i also agree with you that mixing house is a lot more seamless and can be done with more spunk. anyways, nice definition dude... good read. smile

These tattoos are quite addicting, are they not. I got a kick ass tattoo of ying yang a few weeks ago, my third overall tattoo. And I have no plans to stop. I think I've spent $570 on tattoos alone. Add into that $45 for two pierced nipples, $40 for a navel piercing I don't have anymore, $40 for a pierced tongue I am without,...

Anyone see any good movies lately? Or humorously bad reality shows? Or any...thing? I've so not had time for a life I miss out on these sort of things.
