Let's see here...
Two months until my subscription here expires. I'm still on the path of not renewing but I'm playing around with the idea.
Bought a 2003 Ford Mustang. It's fun. I used to be embarassed with what I was driving and would always apologize for its existence, not to mention treating the inside of it like a roaming office, stuffed with papers and trash. That's with a truck. But now with the Mustang, I keep it all nice and shiny, even polishing the rims of the tires with windex, and keeping the interior spotless. Which reminds me of something, it's so much easier to clean a vehicle with windex than it is to do the conventional car wash. It's easier to grab windex and a roll of paper towels, and spot clean where necessary, cleaning everything just once; than going through the hassles of getting everything soaked, soaped, and hurrying to wipe it down before it dries. Again, three times for car washing and one time for windex. Plus, with car washing, you still have to pull out the windex for the inside windows. Fuck, cleaning your car with windex might be quirky but it works.
Bought a MacBook and love it. It's so much easier and greater than Windows, so much more ergonomic and reliable, and here I had used Windows for 15 years. With Mac, it's so much easier to install/uninstall programs and you end up having to buy and install less stuff. The interface is far far far superior that "it's not even funny."
Will be moving into a house with three roommates on July 8th. Just tonight I filled a box with DVDs, CDs, and a few books, and was surprised how it quickly filled up and how the effect on my room was almost non-existent. It barely put a dent in my bookshelves full of 80+ books. But with now moving out into (relatively) my own place, now I'll be using my bubble lamp and candles, getting my room all nice and romantic, get a decent bachelor pad going on. As a buddy told me, regarding buying a new larger bed, "Get one that can hold a threesome... seriously."
The house has its own pool. Pool party is in the works.
Been having a job with state government for about three months now. It's going well. And you might be surprised how much time during a year that employees are paid to not work. Between smoke breaks (gotta love those), national holidays, vacations, training sessions, "personal holidays", a paid work stoppage is always right around the corner.
Broke part of my bong. I dropped it. And noooooo..... I wasn't stoned at the time.
I was cleaning it. But that's okay, I've been meaning to buy a pipe and getting into smoking joints. On a related tangent, I've been considering getting into political activism to legalize weed. Weed is the only drug which is available to help me with my medical condition, and god be damned that I can't use it.
On a final note, I see this website has been redesigned. I see there's a description for me. "DeepDish is a captivating, intoxicating individual. Around DeepDish, birds suddenly appear, and choruses of angels sing hymns to DeepDish's bonny face. Sadly, unless DeepDish tells you more about DeepDish, this is all you'll ever know about DeepDish."
LOL!
