I started this whole photography journey on film. My earliest photos were learning commercial product and architecture photography on a 4x5 View Camera. I fell in love with that camera, but didn't fall in love with the money that it cost to use it for work. Once they discontinued Fuji FP 100c45 I discontinued using the camera. Switched to mostly digital, and went down the path that brought me here.
Now that I'm finally at a different point in my life though, I can explore a little more freely. I've still been shooting for SG! Have you seen my sets of @rebeccarose and @peggysue that just came out? Cause they are pretty damn awesome.
But just as cool, and very very different I started shooting Tin Types. Basically the late 1800's version of Photography. I walk into the dark room, poor a liquid emulsion onto metal, sensitize it in a silver nitrate bath, and shoot with that same large format camera I fell in love with almost a decade ago.
