got a call from erikill tonight at around 9:50pm - the aforementioned cat was hit and killed by a car while running across the street towards his yard about 10 minutes earlier.
great - one of the few creatures on this earth to show anything remotely resembling compassion for me recently and it has to die soon thereafter. does everything i come into contact with have to turn to crap so suddenly and completely?
