Sooo . . . my birthday came and went. Thanks to all of you who sent me birthday wishes . . . they were greatly appreciated.
My friend Kristy completely forgot my birthday. After someone reminded her, late in the day, she called me and said she felt like shit, etc. etc. But . . . . if you really care for someone . . . wouldn't you leave yourself notes, or do whatever, to make sure you didn't forget?

I blew out of work early yesterday, and went over to the airport and took a plane up. Got in five practice landings before dark. The five year lay-off in my flying makes me feel like a student pilot again. I've definitely got some work to do, to get back to my former level of proficiency.
