Aarrghh! Ever get tired of working for a living? (strange expression, that) I know so many wealthy people, who don't have to work if they don't want to. Where do I sign up? So many people inherit money from wealthy relatives . . . I wish! My parents died poor. I don't begrudge them for that. I've always believed that you should principally rely on yourself, anyway. And if a windfall comes along - its an unexpected bonus. But when you see some people cruising down easy street . . . you just can't help but reflect upon things in your life.

O.K. . . . I can hear you . . . at least I have a good job, and make decent money. Things could be a lot worse. I guess its a matter of perspective. I have a friend who can't afford groceries. I'm going to see if I can do something to help. Some years back, when I was between jobs, I pretty much lost everything. I had to sell things to keep my bills paid . . like the airplane in my profile pic. I eventually worked things out . . . but I was never able to replace the airplane. Maybe someday. In every life a little rain must fall, huh?

On a positive note . . . . my friend Kristy and I are going to the Bamboo room tonight, to hear Albert Cummings.
