So . . for the second time in 5 years . . . some asshole got my charge card info from one of my Christmas purchases. We caught it, of course, and the card company has cancelled my card, and is issuing a new one.
These dishonest little fuckers, "test" your card with a small purchase . . . in this case $1.47 . . . and if it goes through, they bang the shit out of your card for a couple of hours, and then throw it away. This Test transaction was placed through a grade Z casino hotel in Las Vegas. I suppose it was either online gambling, or they have a buddy who works there, who would buy chips on the card, and then cash them in. In any event, I wish I could get my hands on them for about five minutes.
Oh well. Hopefully the police will catch them.
